Magic Bus’s music is best described as “a love-in of late 60’s early 70’s Canterbury scene and U.S west coast hippie”.
Magic Bus formed in Devon in 2010. In 2011 their debut album was released, which received local and national airplay (including Stuart Marconie and Gideon Coe’s shows on BBC6 MUSIC) and also some great reviews at home (Shindig! magazine) and abroad, in particular ‘Strange Days’ magazine in Japan did a full interview/band feature.
A single: ‘Magic Bus’ was released, which again received BBC6 music airplay and good reviews including single of the week in ‘Losing Today’.
The second album (2014’s ‘Transmission from Sogmore’s garden’), again received great reviews and airplay around the world including BBC 6 music and BBC introducing and features in Shindig, Prog, Record collector and many other publications.
